BOMA LIVE SHOOT

**********************************************************************
PLAYBOY magazine was recently in town for two days of casting calls in search of models for their 55th annirversary. Local Playboy model BETH FITHEN decided to plan a party in honor of the magazine being in town and to also help her promote her new clothing line for Hot Mom Mafia. If you are going to have any kind of a party on a grand level with all the trappings then you need to have my good friend JASON DHIR on board as well. So Jason was brought in to help Beth plan and organize and he immediately asked me if I would be willing to do a live photoshoot at the party. Of course I obliged and began to go into prep mode. Now if any of you witnessed my live shoot at the Arnold Classic you know how entertaining a live shoot can be but what you dont see is the amount of work that goes into putting on a good production.
As I began preparations for the shoot I realized I only had 10 days to get things in order. I asked my trusty assistant and good friend Rob Taggart to help. I designed and planned my sets which ended up being a ";;;;ROCK BAND";;;; set complete with guitars and amps. The other was more in tune with Playboy so I designed a sexy ";;;;BEDROOM";;;; set with a very warm and seductive vibe. I handpicked the music for the show.... a little hip hop, a little pop and a whole lot of metal. I asked the wonderfully talented DAWNICE BECKLEY to once again emcee the event. If any of you were at the Arnold shoot you know this girl can work a room better than ANYONE! I had all my ducks in a row with the exception of the most important element. THE MODELS!
Playboy model BETH FITHEN organized that portion of the show and she brought out a fine stable of other Playboy models. BRITNEY NICOLE, LISA NEELDS along with other models SARA, STEPHANIE, LOREN, DAWNICE, OLIVIA and ADRIENNE all came out and helped put on a great show for the crowd. It was a bit nerve racking for everyone as none of us had worked together before (with the exception of Dawnice) but once the lights dimmed, the music roared and the crowd cheered it was smooth sailing. A big hats off to the gorgeous LOREN for having the steely nerves to be my first victim. The first model not only helps set the mood but also helps me get settled in to my role..... Loren, you rocked!
I also have to give an enormous kudo and one hell of a job well done to the beautiful and spunky KARISSA who at the last minute stepped up to the plate and volunteered to be my expeditor/liaison for the models. I dont think she has any idea how big a roll she played in keeping things rolling smoothly and allowing the show to flow from start to finish. Karissa, if you are reading this, YOU KICKED BUTT and next time you are coming out on that stage where you belong. :)
Doing a live shoot for me is kind of a unique experience as it gives me an opportunity to perform while at the same time trying to make it an entertaining and interactive experience for the entire room. I have an absolute blast up there and for a brief moment I feel like a rockstar........and anywhere you have a rockstar you have a stable of great people who support and help nurture the art and I could not have been successful at this without the help of all the aforementioned people. A BIG CHEERS TO EVERYONE INVOLVED WITH THIS EVENT and to BOMA for hosting the event. I have been getting rave reviews from everyone so you can bet your sweet asses that there will be more live shoots coming up......... keep your eyes and ears open and catch the next one......................
ENJOY!
