2006 MIKE FRANCOIS CLASSIC
Another year, another great show put on by promoter Mike Francois and his wife Shannan. Even with a change of venue this year, the show from beginning to end ran like a fine tuned, well oiled muscle machine. The competition was tough in both the figure and bodybuilding divisions. OMAR HOLT of Mansfield, Ohio was crowned the overall winner this year. His condititioning was superb and in fact some would say he pulled the surprise victory of the day. One of the other class winners told me that "he didnt even see the guy all day long"! If there was a best poser award it should have gone to SCOTT MABRY of the Mabry Muscle Machine. Each year Scott and his brother Monte put on a clinic on how to pose onstage with finesse and style.
I would like to send a special thanks to MIKE and SHANNAN FRANCOIS for allowing me to do my thing. A big thanks also to my buddy CARL WADE for keeping me entertained all day and night and also M.C. MIKE LACKNER for another great job done.
